Naty was born from one mother’s concern: why was no one talking about the chemicals in nappies — or how they might affect baby skin? That question became our mission. 

Since 1994, we’ve gone beyond what regulations require. Hygiene products like nappies, tampons, and sanitary pads are still not fully regulated for skin safety — and many brands make vague claims like “free from” without verified proof.  At Naty, every product and our materials are certified by independent experts and verified to meet the highest standards for skin compatibility. Because when something is used every day, on the most sensitive skin, trust starts with facts. 

SAFETY SHOULDN’T BE A GUESSING GAME

Unlike cosmetics, food, or toys, there is no specific legislation governing hygiene products like diapers, period pads or wipes. This means that brands must take responsibility for ensuring safety and transparency. Yet, terms like “natural” or “free from” are sometimes used without always providing supporting evidence. 

Naty chooses a different path. We rely on internationally recognized third-party certifications to back every material and claim — with no shortcuts or empty marketing terms. 

From the start, we’ve believed that consumers deserve clarity, not confusion. And every baby and every woman deserve safe care that’s proven, not promised. 

WHAT WE MEAN BY “SAFE FOR SKIN”

    We don’t just say “free from” — we show proof. When it comes to skin safety, our hero certification is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, one of the world’s most rigorous and trusted standards for chemical safety. 

    Unlike certifications that rely only on ingredient reviews, OEKO-TEX® requires regular laboratory testing of the final product against more than 1,000 harmful substances, including: 

  • Formaldehyde 
  • Heavy metals 
  • Phthalates 
  • PFAS 
  • Parabens 
  • Bisphenol A (BPA) 
  • Dioxins 

    • We’re proud to have it across our nappies, tampons, liners, and more — while many brands don’t. We also voluntarily exceed regulatory minimums. There’s no global regulation that fully covers nappies, and period care — so we go beyond. Our products are designed without: 

  • Fragrances or synthetic perfumes 
  • Allergenic dyes or endocrine disruptors

    • When it comes to dermatologically tested, we use Dermatest® — proving safety for even the most sensitive skin.

PROOF OVER PROMISES

We don’t rely on buzzwords — we rely on proof. These are the globally recognized certifications that Naty holds, and what they verify (click name to read more):

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 – Screens for over 1,000 harmful chemicals
  • Dermatest® – Dermatologically tested for skin safety and irritation (rated “Excellent” on sensitive skin)
  • DIN CERTCO Biobased – By lab test verifies the usage of biobased materials against skin
  • FSC® – Verifies responsible forestry for pulp, bamboo and plant fibers
  • GOTS – Applies to our tampons, certifying they are made with organic cotton
  • COSMOS Natural (Ecocert) – Natural origin ingredients that are safe for skin and environment in wipes & toiletries
  • Hyposense (Dermatest) – Clinical testing on sensitive skin confirming high skin compatibility and hypoallergenic standards
  • OK Compost Home & Industrial (TÜV Austria) – Certifies our wipes, wraps, and disposal bags
  • OK Biodegradable Water – Verifies our flushable wipes break down safely in water
  • Vegan Certified – Confirms all products are cruelty-free and contain no animal ingredients
  • Seedling (EN 13432) – Confirms fem care packaging/wrappers/barrier film are compostable under industrial conditions
