    Hello there,

    I have a question…
I grew up with a concience of our envirenmont and the need to protect nature in this world.
Since my own dauhgter was born I first used coton towels, later we found dipers in our bio-shop, don’t remember the mark. That’s 12 yeras ago…
Today my concience has brouhgt me up to my ladiestowels and I want to use naturals in stead of plastics.
So, my shop used to sell Natucare-towels. They just changed their assortiment to Naty womencare, and I came to read about your products.
You have a wonderfull goal and a readfriendly website, I wish you good luck!
    However, here is my question:
The bandages look natural, but: accept from the total package, which is made from cornplastic and compleetly compostable, each towel is packed in a very “looks-like-plastic(?) and this seames nót to be made of corn! I can’t find anything about that in the website, so: why is that? Seems like a very waste of more chemical materia to mel!!

  2. Dear Mrs Thönnissen,

Thanks for taking contact with us regarding our Femcare products.
Please find the most important points about our sanitary towels.

    • Viscose with no binders made of Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) Pulp, 100% Compostable
    • Absorbent core with no binders made of totally chlorine free pulp, 100% biodegradable
    • Acquisition layer made of totally chlorine free pulp, 100% biodegradable
    • Back Sheet based on Natural Corn starch film, 100% compostable

They are packed as well in a cornstarch bag which is compostable.
The individual packaging is however not in cornstarch. This was not possible to use cornstarch film with the machines used to make our femcare.
We had to use a LDPE which is recyclable.

We hope that we have answered your questions.
    All the best!
